From no mirrors to being completely blindfolded, our beauty gurus have taken on some pretty intense makeup challenges. This might be the most extreme one yet! Watch Erin Scott apply a full face of makeup using only WET BRUSHES. Yes, it’s all kinds of wrong. Yes, it went about as well as you think. And NO do not try this at home!

Anyway, back to business.

First off, brows. From Master Brow Pro Palette start to the Brow Precise Fibre Volumizer finish, this was a huge effort. Soaking her angled brush in a bowl of water, Erin somehow managed to get dark, defined (although shiny) eyebrows. Now that’s a skill!

Next up, eyes. Dripping wet concealer on your lids is the last thing anyone wants but Erin manages a streaky blended base. The Burgundy Bar eyeshadow was a surprising success – soaking up the water and leaving behind a passable (if not perfectly blended) smokey eye. She applies Colossal Big Shot Mascara to her lashes and while they feel heavy on, Erin still looks 100% fabulous.

Because we DON’T have enough hydration going on already, Erin goes in with the Master Primer Hydrating Primer. This is followed by Superstay 24H Foundation, rubbed in with a dripping wet foundation brush. TBH Babellines, this is where we were feeling peak sympathy. Nothing feels worse!

Finally, Erin gets to contouring. This is more like nontouring, as the water acts more like a makeup remover than anything else. She still manages to get respectable chiseled cheekbones happening with a combination of NY Bricks Bronzer and Master Blush.

For the final (heart-wrenching) minute of the video, Erin dunks a brand new Color Sensational Matte Lipstick into her bowl of water and onto her lips. It applies like balm and she looks like a goddess. We literally have no idea how she’s done it (but we’ll definitely be replacing that lipstick)!
